The Tuscaloosa Environmental Services Department is hosting the 2010 School Phone Book Recycling Contest in January & February. Tuscaloosa City & County schools are able to collect phonebooks for recycling, keeping them out of our area landfills, for a share of $4,000 in CASH prizes donated by AT&T.
Winning schools will be selected by collecting the most amount of books per student enrolled.
First place winners in each system will be awarded $1000. Second place winner in each system will be awarded $600. Third place winner in each system will be awarded $400.
