10^th Anniversary - Sister City Partnership with Schorndorf, Germany

Mayor Maddox, along with councilmembers William Tinker and Bob Lundell joined the Sister City Delegation on trip to Schorndorf, Germany in May.  This trip commemorated the 10^th Anniversary of the City of Tuscaloosa’s Sister City Relationship with the City of Schorndorf.  Below are photos of Mayor Walt Maddox, Director of the Sister Cities Commission, Lisa Keyes and Councilmembers Lundell and Tinker with Schorndorf’s Lord Mayor Winfried Kübler, as they attended a ceremony and dinner in honor of the 10th anniversary. Also pictured below is Schorndorf Town Square and Sister Cities Monument, which was toured by the delegation. 

While in Germany, the delegation visited Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg where Vice State Minister of the Land, Rudolf Böhmler presented Lisa Keyes and Mayor Maddox with gifts from the City.  The presentation was made at the Baden Württemberg Governor's Mansion.
