The City of Tuscaloosa Department of Transportation advises that the 25th Avenue E. bridge will be closed immediately due to structural damage. Kansas City Southern Railway Company, which owns the bridge, is currently designing the replacement structure. To expedite a replacement, the city has committed significant funding for this project. KCS anticipates construction beginning spring 2008 and to be completed by winter 2009. TDOT has established a detour route along Kicker Road.
The City of Tuscaloosa Department of Transportation advises that 6th Street between 22nd Avenue and 23rd Avenue is partially closed for an indefinite period of time. This road closure will continue until the new parking deck construction is complete.
The City of Tuscaloosa Engineering Department submits a map of the excluded area for the Sanitary Sewer Policy.
